10-Foot Cargo Van — This is the smallest option and works best for studio apartments, dorm rooms, or when you just need to move a few large items like a mattress and some boxes. It handles like a large SUV, so most drivers feel comfortable right away.

15-Foot Truck — The most popular choice for 1-2 bedroom apartments. It fits a queen-size bed, a small couch, a dining set, and about 30 to 40 medium boxes. This is a great middle-ground option for smaller moves.

20-Foot Truck — Ideal for a 2-3 bedroom home. You can fit a full living room set, bedroom furniture, appliances, and plenty of boxes. If you are moving an average-sized house, this is usually the right call.

What You Need to Rent

The rental process is straightforward. Bring a valid driver’s license, be at least 18 years old (25 for some larger trucks), and have a credit or debit card for payment. We recommend reserving your truck at least a week in advance, especially during peak moving season from May through September.

Packing Tips for a Smooth Move

Start packing at least two weeks before your move date. Label every box with its contents and the room it belongs in. Load heavy items like appliances and furniture first, placing them toward the front of the truck near the cab. Stack lighter boxes on top and fill gaps with soft items like pillows and blankets to prevent shifting during transit.
